FAQs

Q?

What are your store hours?

A.

We are open Monday - Friday from 9am to 5pm. On Saturdays our hours typically vary, but normally 10am to 3pm. Appointments are encouraged on Saturdays.

Q?

Do you just sell second-hand equipment?

A.

No. While the majority of our equipment is previously owned, we are dealers with Pride Mobility, Quantum Rehab, Permobil, Invacare, Medline, Ki Mobility, ROHO, MK Batteries, TiLite, and others, so we can also order you new equipment.

Q?

What forms of payment do you accept?

A.

We accept cash, all major credit card companies, personal checks, money order, Paypal, and more! We accept some forms of insurance but not all. We currently do not have a Medicare/Medicaid contract. We realize that sometimes people have a tough time affording medical equipment, which is why we offer no-interest payment plans. Please inquire if you have any questions.

Q?

Do you make house calls?

A.

Yes! We travel all over Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut to your residence, nursing home, or assisted living facility.

Q?

Is my device broken?

A.

If your power wheelchair, scooter or any other medical device is not working the way it used to -- or should -- then chances are it is in need of repair. Give us a call at 401-294-4111 with the make, model and serial number handy, then simply describe the nature of the problem and we will do our best to diagnose it.

Q?

Do you ever buy equipment?

A.

Yes, but it depends on the make, model, and condition of the item. If you are calling to inquire about selling your device, please have the above information ready as well as the serial number.

Q?

How do I donate a device?

A.

Contact us any time and have the make and model of the device handy. We will take down all of your information and schedule a time that works best to come and pick it up.

Q?

I have a piece of equipment to donate, will you come and pick it up?

A.

Yes! We make donation pickups on most mobility devices in Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut. Contact us via our form, or call us directly, and if the device/equipment is within our pick-up range, we will happily schedule a time to come pick it up.

Q?

I need a specific piece of medical equipment, can you find one for me?

A.

Of course! We have thousands of parts and hundreds of wheelchairs/scooters/etc. We're also licensed dealers with many medical supply companies so we can order new parts if needed. Also, we have built a large network of contacts, so if you need it we either have it or can find it!
